Crafting reliable enterprise systems by day, AI-powered hobby apps by night.
I've been curious about how things work for as long as I can remember.
I've always been drawn to numbers and the structure behind systems. It's never been enough for something to just work — I've always wanted to understand why it works.
That curiosity eventually turned into software.
But for me, software has never been just about writing code. It's a way to build systems that are reliable, practical, and actually hold up in real-world use.
I currently work as a Product Engineer at a bank in Dubai.
My work goes beyond building features. I focus on making sure systems run smoothly, perform well, and behave correctly in production. Once something is live, I still see it as my responsibility.
I also care a lot about the product side.
It's not just about how something is built, but why it's built and what it means for the user.
Outside of work, I like experimenting.
I build small AI-powered products and turn ideas into working prototypes. Some stay as experiments, others evolve into real products.
I enjoy simplifying complex things, building systems that actually work, and turning ideas into real products.
- Own the technical roadmap and lifecycle of a vendor-built banking application used across the organization.
- Manage end-to-end deployments, environment migrations, and integrations with internal systems.
- Work on improving system reliability and performance by diagnosing complex production issues and driving optimizations.
- Work closely with internal teams and vendors to deliver new features and improvements smoothly.
- Joined as the first in-house developer and quickly grew into leading a team of 4 engineers.
- Led sprint planning and day-to-day execution while staying hands-on with backend and mobile development.
- Built and maintained a React Native mobile app supported by Node.js and TypeScript backend services.
- Improved performance and user experience for a product with 10,000+ active users.
- Gained end-to-end product experience in a fast-moving startup environment.
Outside of work I build small things on the side — sometimes to test an idea, sometimes because I wanted it myself. A few of them below.
